In order to further build new quality productivity in the pet industry, comprehensively improve the pet food technology research and development capabilities, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of the industry, on June 13, the pet industry "Industry-University-Research-Application" seminar and the unveiling ceremony of "Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Specialty Products Institute-Shuang'an Biological Pet Health R&D Center" were officially held at the Specialty Products Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. At the meeting, Shuang'an Biological and the Specialty Products Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences reached a comprehensive strategic cooperation. The two parties will work together to promote pet health and nutrition research and development, and functional raw material development.
01 Seminar and Talk about Development
On the morning of June 13, the pet industry "Industry-University-Research-Application" seminar was officially held. Zhang Tietao, Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Specialty Products Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Chief of the Special Animal Nutrition and Feeding Team, Zhang Xu, Deputy Director of the Achievement Transformation Department, and Wang Fuzheng, Chairman of Qingdao Shuang'an Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and other experts and leaders attended the meeting.
The participants visited and learned about the profound R&D and industrial treasures accumulated by the Institute of Special Products of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the field of special economic animals and plants, and reached a consensus on "combining the accumulation and advantages of the Institute of Special Products of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the development and innovation of special animal and plant technologies with the resource advantages of Shuang'an Bio in R&D, production and customer service in the pet industry, and jointly building an R&D center to promote scientific and technological innovation in China's pet health and nutritional food industry and narrow the gap between my country's pet food technology level and the international level."
02 Center unveiling, win-win cooperation
On the afternoon of June 13, the unveiling ceremony of the "Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Specialty Products Institute-Shuang'an Biological Pet Health R&D Center" was officially held. Tian Xin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Specialty Products Institute, Liu Zhijie, deputy director, Ma Haiqin, director of the Office/Party Office, Zhang Tietao, director of the Science and Technology Department and chief of the Special Animal Nutrition and Feeding Team, Zhang Xu, deputy director of the Achievement Transformation Department, Liu Tingting, director of the Alltech (China) Pet Business Department, Li Shuyue, investment director of Guangdong Wen's Investment Co., Ltd. and director of Qingdao Shuang'an Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Wang Fuzheng, chairman of Qingdao Shuang'an Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and Lu Xungang, deputy director of the Technology Center, attended the unveiling ceremony, which was hosted by Liu Zhijie of the Specialty Products Institute.
At the ceremony, Tian Xin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Specialty Products Institute, and Wang Fuzheng, chairman of Shuang'an Biological, signed the cooperation agreement of the Pet Health R&D Center and issued appointment letters to the members of the Center Committee.
Subsequently, the Specialty Products Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences - Shuang'an Biological Pet Health R&D Center and Alltech (China) Pet Business Unit signed a project cooperation agreement to carry out in-depth cooperation on the pet functional raw material supply chain, and will jointly promote the global resource integration and R&D technology transformation and upgrading of domestic pet food in the field of functional raw material applications.
Regarding this strong alliance, Shuang'an Biological said: At present, the vigorous development of China's pet industry is an indisputable fact, and the pet food industry has also entered an era of emphasizing long-term health, scientific formula and process production, and personalized services.
The establishment of the Pet Health R&D Center is to meet the needs of the industry and create an enterprise-type technology innovation service platform for activities such as industry common key technology research and development, scientific and technological achievement transformation, and industrial technology services. It will better serve Shuang'an Biological Group companies and cooperative customers.
03 Build a domestic and international science and technology "R&D alliance", and new quality productivity empowers the high-quality development of the pet food industry
Shuang'an Biological currently has three factories in Qingdao Headquarters, Liaoning Haichen Pet Organic Food Co., Ltd., and Liaoning Anjiu Animal Nutrition Food Co., Ltd. It has its own pet nutrition and behavior R&D center and nutrition and quality testing center. It can provide one-stop pet puffing, air drying, baking, freeze-dried staple food, pet wet food, pet snacks, pet supplementary food, functional raw materials and other product customization services. It is a well-known domestic manufacturing company.
The company has always adhered to the principle of "industry co-construction and win-win cooperation". While striving to improve the company's R&D, production, and verification technical capabilities and equipment facilities, it actively cooperates with universities, research institutes, and high-quality raw material and equipment manufacturers to build a "R&D alliance" to consolidate the company's R&D, manufacturing, and customer service.

In 2022, Liaoning Haichen Pet Organic Food Co., Ltd. and Professor Yang Jiancheng of Shenyang Agricultural University formed a pet nutrition and health innovation team with 24 experts. In 2023, it co-built the Liaoning Provincial Pet Nutrition and Functional Food R&D Professional Technology Innovation Center with Shenyang Agricultural University to conduct joint research on pet nutrition and raw material nutritional value assessment, pet function regulation and functional food R&D, pet clinical disease diagnosis and treatment and prescription food development, pet food processing and quality control.

Alltech is a global TOP5 animal nutrition company with 5 biological laboratories, more than 100 factories worldwide, and more than 600 patents registered. The establishment of the joint R&D center and the signing of the joint R&D agreement for Alltech functional ingredients are the actions of Shuangan & Haichen to build a domestic and international pet health and food "R&D alliance" after Shenyang Agricultural University.
